“BMBF Spitzencluster-Wettbewerb” (competition organized by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research with the goal of strengthening innovation and economic success in Germany)
On January 26, 2010, the Software-Cluster was chosen as one of the five finalists in the “Spitzencluster” competition organized by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research. The BMBF will support the implementation of projects over a period not exceeding five years with up to 40 million euros. The objective of the competition is to establish Germany as one of the leading technology nations.
