Software-Cluster management team

The Cluster’s strategy board consists of representatives of the industry partners and the research partners: a team of high-ranking experts, who are responsible for the strategic developement of the cluster and the steering of the Head Office. The current board members are:

  • Prof. Dr. Lutz Heuser, spokesperson of the Software-Cluster, Chairman of the EU Information and Communication Technology Advisory Group (ISTAG), Director of SAP Research, SAP AG
  • Prof. Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer, founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IDS Scheer AG, President of the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM e.V.).
  • Dr. Peter Kürpick, Member of the Board of Directors of Software AG
  • Prof. Dr. Johannes Buchmann, Director of the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED), Chair of the Cryptography Research Department at the Darmstadt University of Technology
  • Prof. Dr. Dieter Rombach, Director of the Fraunhofer IESE, Head of the Fraunhofer ICT Association, Chair of the Software Engineering Department at the Technical University in Kaiserslautern
