Further Education in IT Security

Objective
Designing security concepts and implementing them in a demand-orientated way has to be learned. Connecting a secure system to electronic mail, facilitating a secure network with internet access or distributed virtual private networks, the installation of public-key infrastructure or even installation of an ecommerce service – all of these projects and administration of networks require substantial knowledge about security mechanisms and their application. With its qualifying courses CASED promotes training on the job focusing on IT security.

Target audience
The Certificate of IT Security is especially intended for users from the Rhine-Main region, who wish to improve their skills in the field of IT security.

Certificate of IT Security
For each successfully completed term (at least two exams have to be passed) participants receive a confirmation of successful attendance, stating contents and the number of classes. The Certificate of IT Security is awarded after successfully passing eight exams within four years. Confirmation of participation and the Certificate of IT Security are signed by the presidency of TU Darmstadt and the professor responsible.

Fees
Fees for one term are € 1.250,00. This includes study material, examination fee and the fee for registration as guest student at TU Darmstadt (€ 50).
